We Were Sharks Have a New Announcement!

Via social media, June 18, We Were Sharks announced they are releasing a Deluxe Edition of ‘Not A Chance’, which was originally released in 2015. 

In celebration of the EP’s 5th anniversary, the band wanted to honor the music that brought them the adventure of a lifetime. We Were Sharks shared that ‘Not A Chance’ gave them “the opportunity to grow and meet so many new friends around the world.”

We Were Sharks reflects on the 5 years since ‘Not A Chance’ was released. The group is nostalgic for the many shows that were played, the fun that was had, and the friends that were made along the way. 

The band acknowledges the support they have received throughout their musical excursion and declares that the Deluxe Edition of ‘Not A Chance’ is their way of doing something special for friends, family, and fans who have stood by them and the music. 

The Deluxe Edition of ‘Not A Chance’ is an incredible reinvention of We Were Sharks classics and is sure to remind fans why they back this band. The rendition will include “a couple reimagined jams from the original EP and also a couple digitally remastered fan favorites from our early days.”

We Were Sharks concluded their announcement by revealing more exciting news was soon to come. The band is working on new music, which is expected to be released sometime in 2020. 

In 2019, We Were Sharks signed with Revival and began a new chapter. They spent the later half of last year touring North America with Never Loved. The band seized this opportunity and shared their intensity and devotion to rocking with countless fans. 

Since closing their tour, they have been delivering engaging and exciting content in the studio and online. In recent months, they have coordinated multiple livestream concerts and dropped new merch benefitting COVID-19 front-line workers in Ottawa.
